SoundSplinter...what are your thoughts on these?

I was looking through the local craigslist and saw these on sale....Damn...these suckers are HUGE!!! Are DIY subs always this big? Anyways, how are Soundsplinter drivers stack up against other drivers?

uhmmmm....how am I going to explain to the wife why there is two giant boxes, the size of a sofa sitting in the living room when she gets home from work?

I've been looking for something better than the MFW 15...and this might just do it....just not sure how 2 boxes that weights 200 lbs gonna look in my living room.

There is no question; these drivers far exceed the quality of the drivers used in the MFW 15.

His pricing for the HD-A2 with movies is really ridiculously high. The movies are $5 or less brand new and the player is worth lest than $50.

Seems like a good deal for the subs though

Boxes looked to be sealed and I'm a bit confused about his wording. Is that $250 per sub in the large box or $200. It looks like four boxes in the picture, 2 are the same size. The one on top is a smaller box/different driver.

Be worth checking out if you've got the space.
