Personally, if people stopped saying "It is what it is", I'd be, like, a happy camper.
My employer's corporate buzz-phrase has gone from "at the end of the day"' to "it is what it is". I like to string them together to really annoy people.

My personal most hated phrase is "to each his own", I want to punch most people that say it right in their nose as hard as I possibly can and grin while watching the blood trickle down their face.

None of these really get to me.

The one that does is when people say "irregardless." Being a double negative, it would be the opposite of "regardless" which is what they generally mean!
