In need of a simple solution

I am looking to buy 3-4 in ceiling speakers for the house and 2 to be mounted under a soffit for outside listening. Just some easy listening, nothing major. I am trying not too spend much money at all and was hoping for a reccomendation on the speakers and an inexpensive receiver that will allow me to have the speakers on outside but not in the house and vice versa. A switching feature is what I was told. Also need a decent speaker wire. Any help is much appreciated.

Also, I was at Best Buy and saw a 6" yamaha in ceiling for $133 a pair and polf outdoor for $200 a pair. any thoughts? Thanks again

If the outdoor speakers will be farther than about 10' apart, think about using dual voice coil speakers. That way, you won't have channel separation issues. This is about even distribution, not stereo separation.

Give 'The Speaker Company' a search. They have some nice and inexpensive ceiling speakers.
