Just installed it. Works well. Nice to have multiple tabs open and viewable instead of multiple windows!

Not sure I would use this feature at home much, maybe at work buth they won't let us d/l firefox. I love the tab feature, I also use the morning coffee add-on so when I open up firefox it automatically brings up all the tabs I've preset it to do.

Have you thought about downloading it at home and then installing? I'm sure the gov't would love that! :D

Seriously, I have no life.
How is this different from right-clicking and selecting "Open link in new tab" without downloading Split Window?

Only one tab is visible at a time. With this add-on you could split the main browser window into two and view both pages simultaneously in one browser instance.

I often have multiple IE and FF instances open and sometimes more than one tab in each so I'm not sure I'd really use the split window feature, but then again if you wanted to compare 2, 3, or 4 sites at the same time it would be easier using a plugin in like this rather than sizing 3 or 4 browser windows and tiling them next to each other on the desktop.

I can view multiple tabs in the same window at the same time. They are all functional and not "thumbnails" like in IE7 (maybe IE8). No more nuisance of having multiple windows open to compare different web documents or sites.

You can manually adjust the size of the windows, too.

That's kind of what I was getting at. If the Restore Down is used for at least one, it works fine.

I can't read them if they're too small, anyway unless I use a larger monitor, which I don't.
