Frankfurt Auto Show 2009

I had the good fortune of being there just at the right time so that I could catch the 2009 show. Unfortunately, my SLR decided to malfunction, so my backup point and shoot was all I had. So, I am really dissapointed with the pic quality... but, here are the highlights...

BMW had line up of 3 Series through the ages, this was the oldest there,

The Need for Speed franchize had this custom painted Stang, looked really nice,

Some kind of firm did this to a "prancing pony". I kinda liked it, pic does not do justice,

An antique car dealer had this old Audi, looked great,

As did this one,

And whatever this is,

A firm called Marussia had this beauty,

Another angle, it really looked nice with all the swooping lines,

A vendor for renewable energy had this in the booth, hard to believe that a person could get inside to drive...

The Alfa Romeo booth has all cars in this georgous pearly red, pic does not do justice to the paint at all...

Two "prancing ponies" nuf said,

New Paggani Zonda R, it can do the 0-60 in 0.1 less than before, with the crowd and all, this is the best shot I got,

Hamman customized this SLR and made it pure Sex on wheels, to say it locked hot would be an understatement,

The Benz hall, yup they had the whole hall, has this awesome roof, very rave like, but very cool,

Benz's first car, steam powered and its modernized show version,

Finally one for the us, the bourgeois, hot enough to make me want to trade out of my MK1 TT,

When you said your SLR had malfunctioned I thought you were talking about the car! I rolled me eyes, like "yeah right this guys drives an SLR McLaren". Then I realised you meant your camera...

The white Ferrari is tuned by Novitec. Its twin supercharged to 638hp. Better yet is the Novitec F430 Scuderia. 717hp. Youtube it. It is currently my favorite car on sale. Untill the Novitec 458 Italia comes out...

Thanks for the pics. Those are indeed some sweet rides.

Other than the blonde with the Genesis, I wasn't impressed with the car girls. Give me some Tokyo auto show girls over those German ones any day.

I really like the Scirocco. Wish they'd bring that to the states. Is that pic the new GTI?

Novitec does some nice work with Ferrari, that's for sure. I actually really like the Reventon (sp?) roadster. That's one bad mamma-jamma.

The Zonda is incredible too. Pagani's make my pants tight. Those things sound awesome. I'd put my ear up to their quad exhaust just so that'd be the last sound I ever heard.
