Any Lord Of The Rings Online players? I received a beta invitation for the "Seige of Mirkwood" expansion due out this fall sometime. We'll be stress testing tonight. looking forward to it. Just wondering if anyone here is involved in it.

Matt, some of us grew up along time ago. But I do understand that some people still like playing the kiddie games.

I started with the fist LOTR then got the ROTWK. I thought it was a fantastic game but after 1 1/2 years I just quit playing. They should have made another expansion pak sooner to keep me interested. Was a great game though.

The Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth online game. Come to think of it they came out with 2 a couple years ago. Then came the Rise of the Witch King. This the same one you are talking about?

The mechanics are very similar to WOW, but I like the game alot more then WOW.

I've been playing with a couple of friends since open beta a few years back. We still play regularly, but none of us are really hard core, more casual but usually on 4-5 nights a week. We have a small kin of about 5 regulars.
I've mentioned this game in passing in the past few years here, but I believe it's usually met with blank stares. What server are you on?

I am looking forward to the surprise expansion. I think it will have some decent updates for legendaries and new content is always good. A friend got into beta, but I haven't heard from him for a couple of days about whats going on.

I've never played WoW, so I assume that must mean it sucks...

Hey there buddy. Nice to hear someone else enjoying this game. I haven't been able to play as much as I used too now that I got kids. I've been playing since the open beta too. I try to jump on in the evenings. I'm on the Firefoot server. What do you play on?

Ah, we are on the Gladden server. Yah, my friends have kids too, so it's usually just a couple of hours in the evenings after the kids go to bed.
Occassionally can stretch it out on the weekends once in a while.
You'll have to let me know what you think of what you've seen, if it looks good. Overall I think Turbine usually doesn't disappoint.

you said that the version is still on beta, let us know when will be fully available..as im a fan of strategy and action games.
