Welcome to my world- that's the local paper and I get to read about these dirtbags every day. It falls under the snivelling dirtbag/total redneck saying "If I can't have her, no one will!". We see it all the time, especially on Jerry Springer, Maury and crap shows like them. The guy may be smart as a whip but also do things that make him seem dumb as a bag of hammers. The Yale technician & grad student is another good example that was taken way too far, unfortunately.

I'm convinced that people are stupid, on average. If there's enough smart ones to equal one more than 50%, I would be genuinely surprised.
