Van Jones has resigned, over comments he has made regarding people in other parties and for being linked to efforts that claim government involvement in 9-11.

The only problem is, his replacement could be worse.

I give him credit for stepping down, but somehow I don't think it was his idea.

I do question the selection process he used to select his "czars". For what it's worth, here's a (now slightly outdated) list of 'em.

I don't want people appointed to government positions that affect everyone in the country unless they have to go through a thorough vetting process. The fact that Obama appointed people to financial positions and had IRS issues doesn't even look good on paper and it has to be worse in practice.

I wouldn't read too much into this resignation. It is just to cool the masses. They are of the same school and I'm sure Jones still has Obama's ear, just not officially.
