Looks fine to great, depends on if it is a HD channel, I know duh. And if that HD channel is getting enough bandwidth, premiums and football and such seem to me to look better then some of the lesser HD channels, but it is hard to compare. And now that they have 1080p movies I really need a 1080p projector to see what they really can do, but either way not as sharp as Blu-ray or HD DVD, and the sound is only DD.

Ya we have filled the seats ONCE, wife had over some chicks from work, there might have been a seat open...anyways ya it was designed for the front row everything else was an after thought. Heck we had just two seats in the front row before we got the row of recliners.

I am not sure of that:D The seats are used for storage;):D
 jk, ya well what can you say, a mess is a mess. It doesn't look like that now, that picture is old, the panarama shot is much more fresh.

With a nice setup like yours, I may never go to a theater again. Enjoy.

I was quite impressed, and a little disappointed.

The system/room itself was quite impressive, but the lacking of any "adult beverages" anywhere within view inside such a nice room....left me wanting to see more.:p

I mean c'mon... a token beer in the cupholder would have made a nice touch...yes/no? :D

What are the dimensions of your room? I'm wanting to do two rows of seating but I'm wondering if my room is large enough.

Sorry I hadn't gotten back to this thread, anyways, no adult beverages cause I can't drink, I am on to many meds that would be affected by them, as a consolation prize I could put a can of root beer down there and put some electrical tape over root?

Theater is give or take: 19' long, 12' wide, and 8' high. I think the risers are about 8 inches each, I could be wrong on that.

And last but not least, I have not been to a theater since, oh Star Wars: Episode III.

Thanks for all the comments!!! New speakers come tomorrow stay tuned...lol.

I don't like this one bit.

A man must drink booze, meds make booze work better...

A few more pictures, sorry no root beer got drunk in taking of these pictures or is displayed in such pictures .

This "Candy Counter" was a Jewelry display/sales case from a K-Mart that shut down by us, I think it was a Birthday present from my wife to me...awe ain't she so nice. No really it was awesome of her to get it, it completes the movie going experience.

Thank you!

I have new speakers! Front three that is, not the whole bunch.

I had to down grade because my wife needed a new laptop for her work, and well I said I will take the hit. She was lucky enough to get one of those clearance Dells from their outlet section on their website, so I had more to play with then I thought, but had to pay less then I had. lol

Got me three QSC AD-S82, 8" driver, horn loaded dome tweeter. I will have pictures up later today or tomorrow.

http://www.qsc.com/products/speakers/acoustic_design/ad_s82/ad_s82.htm <--I got the NON-H version, H being for high output. So I got the lowly um I guess normal output version.

Need to live with them for awhile to make any reviews possible, one thing I think I can say is they go loud really well, meaning no break up at 105dB, lets see what they will do at 108dB....

Looking forward in seeing the new pics. It's nice when speaker can handle high volumes and still be clear with no breakup:)

The Left and Right speakers are upside down, so the horns of all three speakers are closer in the horizontal plane. (or do I mean vertical) Ugggh must sleep. Anyways the speaker grills aren't really that see through the flash just makes it that way. I took one 4 inch bass trap out of each of front two corners and put them in the two walk ways, wife wasn't so happy about that but maybe she will come around. Oh and I need to do a full Audyssey yet...

BTW, equipment list is as follows:

Onkyo 805 THX Ultra2 Receiver
LG BD370 Blu-ray player
DirecTV HD DVR
Kenwood 200 disc CD changer
Onkyo 919THX, for the bass shakers amplification all 8 of them
Behringer XYENX mixer for volume control of each "zone" of bass shakers
3-QSC AD-S82 front speakers
2-hi-fi Works in-wall bipole THX select sides, modified for the tweeters to be out of phase making them a half dipole, half direct radiating as they only have one woofer each
2-hi-fi Works in-wall THX select rears
Epik Knight 15inch subwoofer
103 inch diagonal 16x9 screen
Sony LCD projector ??AWL-15??
Coaster Matinée front row seating
