I have on average over 10 posts a day. Since I joined. Does that make me the biggest of the current Forum Whores. I find if you get around enough you can pick up all kinds of greenbacks. :D And it feels so good.
At your cureent rate you are, but you'll need to continue that rate over a much longer period to keep pace with Adam... He's averaging nearly 10 per day over a 3 yrs span. Now thats working it;).

Force the feedback to contain the user's name. Someone throwing around red chicklets with no good reason and not knowing who's being the douche sucks.

I agree, I always want people to know when I leave good or bad reputation.

Getting negative rep isn't fun whether it's signed or not, but I agree that it's more aggravating when you don't know why you got it (which is more likely the case if you don't know who gave it to you). I'd sign mine, but I can understand why someone wouldn't. Someone might be upset by a post or think that someone is giving bad information, but they might also be afraid of retaliation. I can see this especially for relatively new members who tend to have less reputation points and are more affected by negative points. There are a number of people here who could take away quite a few points with a red chicklet. Someone should be able to give out negative rep without fear of getting it in return simply as a tit-for-tat thing. Sure, the ramification is that some people do it for fun to get others upset, but that's the price to pay for others to have that freedom.

I don't give out negative rep to anyone but spammers (who are soon to be banned anyway and aren't really affected by it). I've thought about it two or three times, but I tend to just post my thoughts instead. If I could give out/take away a percentage of my normal amount, I might consider it...maybe. I can't justify smacking someone with 150+ negative points because they upset me, though. That, and I very (very) rarely ever get upset here. It's a great group of people, IMO.

I personally won't retaliate, I will talk to the person after receiving it if I really feel it's worth my time. It's usually something that I laugh about then promptly move on.

Quality & Validity of posts is what really counts.

Your true reputation is not based on the number or color of chicklets,
it is on the average quality & validity of your own posts. :)

I had that problem trying to network mod the WDTV. It worked but not good at all. Too many quirks and terrible with NTFS mounts.

For the eGreat, I've been able to stream BD rips with DTS-HD MA, 50GB files, and I don't get any stutter at all. I'm shocked, since network connectivity is limited to 100Mbps on it.

I don't use any attached storage, I only stream over network. Maybe I'd see a performance hit using eSATA or USB. That would point to a driver issue in Linux with NTFS drives. Highly possible.

Glad you have one too, greatest toy I ever bought. :D

Hey Nemo, I try to give you back your due, but I'm still not allowed yet.
I just want to remind you that I don't forget about you, and better days are ahead. :)
