dedicated cd/sacd player?

I'm interested in the arcam cd37 player. I haven't heard it, but i've heard great things about it. Now the store where I got all my audio equipment from doesn't have this player in store so I can't sample it. I'm not going to buy it until I hear it first, but i'm just curious if anyone has heard it.

Fyi I know my store carries rega cd players, and arcam dvd players, but I like to sample across different brands first before I make a decision. Oh and if you're curious I'm just using my xbox for a player right now.

Yeah that was a pretty detailed review. That was yet another review of this player being superb. Man I want to hear it so bad now. If this thing is as good as my arcam receiver is, i'm probably sold. Going from a nad t-765 to my current receiver was the difference between night and day. hopefully going from my gaming console to a stand alone like this arcam player will be the same result.

I would think it would. I went from using my PS3 for CD/SACD playback and bought an Oppo DV-981H. The difference was amazing. The player you are considering is most likely far superior to the Oppo, so the difference should be stunning. Hope you get to audition it somewhere soon!
