I ran into a set of five Reference 3A MM Generation 2 speakers. I have found little to no information on them. Apparently they are a predecessor to the MM De Capo line that has received very favorable reviews. At the price of the Reference 3A line they should get a good review. The asking price is $100 each. Are these worth the investigation ?

For that price I would, that's for sure.

These are high end speakers, grab them, and do it quick too.

That model retails for $2,200 for the pair. I got a review of them at home, in the UHF Ultra High Fidelity (Canadian magazine) from the no.60, December 2000. On page 37, there's a full review on them. And I tell you, it's a frikkin' great review, the three reviewers are simply overblown by these. If you don't grab them quick, you'll miss an opportunity of a lifetime.
Very detailed, true pro monitors. Very well designed, exquisite and unique drivers, two sets of full metal binding posts, very chick, high end all the way, a must have, mature.

Need any more proof than that?
