Dayton ES10 Elite vs. Velodyne VA10BVX12

I have the option of buying a brand new Dayton ES10 Elite or a used Velodyne VA10BVX12 for about $250. I'm looking for tight bass, as I typically play bass heavy electronic music and the room is already full of reverb -- I don't want a muddy sound.

Anyone have opinions as to which I should buy?

For music I really like dyne's they are excellent performers.

To get tight bass you will need to do a crawl test in your listening area.
You put the sub in your listening position and crawl around the room listening for the best bass. Swap places and walla!

It doesn't matter how good your sub is. Bad placement will ruin it. Great placement can make small subs sound great.
