1) Anyone have experience with, or know of any issues with, using toslink cables between 15' and 25' for running a CD stereo only signal to an AVR?
2) Would RCA analog cables be a better bet at these lengths?
Reason: Moving two older Sony 300 disk CD jukeboxes (std CD only; no DVD, no SACD, etc.) further away from an AVR, and the new location will end up needing cables between 15' and 25'.
Jukeboxes only have
RCA analog or toslink connections, and the AVR can support either.
Cost is about the same (~$20/pair delivered) for either Monoprice "premium" toslinks or "premium" RCA analogs at these lengths.
I could buy both, but why waste cash if someone else has already "
been there, done that".
Thanks,
