Hi everybody.
I know almost nothing about amps, spkrs etc. So please excuse my question, that most likely will be very easy for most of you. I would resly appretiate yo'lls input. Thank you in advance.

I have : Onkyo TX-NR906

I am running "Zone 2" speakers :
1/ 2 in ceiling spkrs( 40 W ,8 Ohms each ) to dinning room thru in wall stereo volume control
2/ 2 in ceiling spkrs ( 40 W, 8 Ohms each ) to bedroom thru in wall stereo volume control
3/ 2 outdoor spkrs (200 W , 8 Ohms each, 8 Ohms/70V-built in on the fly) thru in wall stereo volume control;
4/ I have just bought 2 additional outdoor spkrs-to be installed at another outdoor location. ( 175 W , 8 Ohms each,).

Here is my question :
1/What would be the best wiring for all those spkrs?? In series ?, Daisy chain ?
2/ Does the Onkyo have enough power to run all of them ? Or do I need to buy a pre-amp or an additional amplifier ??. ( Onkyo has a pre-amp out). If so, that which would be the best choice? What power and impedance ?
Thank you.

Thanx Rickster71.

These R the outdoor speakers that I have:
AP850 Reference Series Pair 8" Patio Speakers
8" polypropylene woofer
2" supernil soft dome tweeter
Power handling: 200W
Frequency Response 22Hz - 20kHz
Sensitivity 90db
Impedance 8 ohm 70V switchable
70V tap: 40W, 30W, 25W, 20W

Why aren't compatible with ONKYO ?
Would you suggest an extra amplifier ? Which one ?
Thank you.

You can pick up a pro amp like this and you will be fine for driving multiple zones at once

Now that I've seen the link, they look like switch hitters.
It's a multi-tap transformer that can be by-passed.
So they will work either way.

Thanx.bandphan.

Interestingly enough I was planning to buy this amp.
Would that be O.K.?? 4 my setting ???
Behringer EP4000 Power Amplifier
There is just a few bucks difference in price.

Also back to my original question. How should I wire all those speakers ? Is parallel the best way ? What would be the overall impedance for all 8 spkrs? [ 4 x2 ].

Either amp will work and you will need to wire them per the selector Rick linked

The EP4000 is a rebranded EP2500.

Be aware of the fan noise. You can replace the fan if it's too loud.

I suggest you put in a price match request with zzounds.com with the
link bandphan sent.
