Hi everyone. For sale is a gently used, highly rated Optoma H77 720p DLP projector. It was bought new in 2005 for $4000, and was put in storage sometime in 2007 after being replaced by a 1080p projector. Projector Central's review can be found
here, and their specifications summary is
here. This would be a great way to get into a front projection system, or as a secondary system for video games, etc! It can be ceiling, table, or shelf mounted, and has very convenient power zoom and focus, which are commonly manual controls.
I would like get
$350 and I will split shipping and Paypal fees 50/50. I will consider reasonable offers as well.
It will ship in the original box with the power cord and remote. I will also be including a DVI-to-HDMI adapter and a component video cable. I cannot locate the manual at this time (I will try to locate it before shipping), but it can be found in PDF form
here.
It should be considered a refurbished model, because it was repaired under warranty after issues with the color wheel. It has 407 hours on the bulb timer, and projects a great image. I just took it out and tested it, and everything still works perfectly. Cosmetically, I would rate it a 7/10, and operationally, I would rate it an 8/10 due to the occasional issue below.
Please note that one issue had been experienced on very rare occasion: about 1 in 100 times of trying to turn on the projector with the remote, it would not come on, but this was easily corrected by cycling the power switch on the side. This issue has no affect on image or output, it is just a rare inconvenience.
I have disclosed its condition to the best of my ability, and the projector is being sold as-is and no warranty is implied or included.
Please contact me via PM if interested, or with any questions.
Thank you!
