bandphan Banned Jul 9, 2009 #6 If your going to do it yourself, and not by a professional, look into purchasing a test disc like dve, http://www.audioholics.com/tweaks/calibrate-your-system/digital-video-essentials-dve-review as a good way to start. There are many different factors for calibration that vary from day and night and from display to display. If you would like other options for calibration feel free to pm me. I wouldnt recommend using others settings and would use two av modes, one for day and one for night.

It's usually a good starting point, but you will want to tweak yours a bit. I suggest not tweaking the tv for a few weeks to allow the initial joy of owning it wear off.

The holding off tweaking in the aforementioned post is due to break in.(about 100 hrs) Pannasonic plasmas are superb displays even with their loss leaders. I own two plasmas and wouldn't own anything else without moving into front projectors over 100". Both of my pioneers provide an exceptional viewing experience. The G10 will do the same.

Adam Audioholic Jedi Jul 9, 2009 #10 I got that exact model about two weeks ago. I love it. I was nervous that I'd buy a display and like it less than my CRT TV, but I haven't found anything that I don't like about the image.
