Blu Ray Player w/ Netflix and PAL Compatibility

Ok folks, video isn't my thing so I need a little help

I'm in need of a Blu Ray player that does Netflix streaming and will also play PAL SD discs. I believe the LG 370 will do it. Not sure about the Samsung 1600 or 2550. Under $300 is the target price. Any ideas?

It appears the Samsungs won't play PAL

I suppose another option are the Panny's with VIERA. I don't have experience with VIERA or NETFLIX.

I set this player up yesterday and can confirm it plays PAL discs without issue. My wife got wind of the YouTube feature so I might have to buy one of these for our home

1. Samsung BD-P2550 will do Netflix HD movie streaming, but not Pal.

2. Samsung BD-P3600 will do Netflix HD movie streaming, but not Pal.

* Not sure about Netflix from the BD-P2500 and BD-P1600 (Pal for sure not).

3. LG BD370 will do Netflix HD movie streaming, and Pal might be a possibility by hacking the player (appears to).

4. LG BD300 will do Netflix HD movie streaming, and Pal might be a possibility by hacking the player (appears to).

* Oppo BDP-83, I don't have a clue, but should be very easy to find out in it's own thread.

I just bought a LG BD 390. It's dropped in price, $325-$350. It's Netfilx, YouTube, and another... I don't know about PAL, but it is HDMI, or WiFi.

I like it. Easy to set up, too.

Thanks for the list LOTR. Just to clarify, the LG BD370 does play PAL without hacking. I popped a disc in and away it went.

"Hacking" is done for region coding, not for playing PAL. If the player will not play a region free PAL disc, no hacking is going to make it play PAL.
