Anyone have any ideas on whether they plan on releasing a balanced version, for those of us with home studios  ? It seems that would b a slam dunk at that price point, given what's currently out there for such an app.

Call them up, I know they aren't afraid of custom orders.

I did - they said I'd have to do the leg work as far as finding a plate amp with balanced inputs/outputs. I have no idea where to start looking outside of google and yahoo search (which yielded nothing). I guess this is why so many of us build our own and power it with a Crown separate. Sure would b nice to have an all-in-one unit though for the sake of saving space. It just seems crazy to me that a sizeable segment of the market gets completely ignored, esp considering the overpriced/substandard offerings that we currently have to choose from (SVS excluded, of course). There's such a marketing vacuum here.

Well the amps are not made fully balanced, but what's the problem to use an XLR to RCA adapter and use single ended input.... it will work, yes :p

Let this be the last thread where the Bose bass module is used as a joke. It is no longer funny. Just, let it go.

Trying something with ports and air flooshing.

That would b an option, I guess, but I would prefer to keep the system fully balanced if possible. When you have long runs between equipment the balanced cables keep the buzzing/noise down.

Well, if you use some other gear, like Behringer Ultradrive or Ultracurve to do equalizations, perhaps you can locate them close to subs and have single ended connection from those Behringer boxes to the subs, then this will be a non issue, I reckon?
