The basic problem is that he knows that any of this stuff will be cheaper if he waits. Huge price cuts are always around the corner.

My fear is that the price will go up...again. I live my life through regret. For example, "I could have gotten that TV for $1440, and now it's $1460. But, if I buy it now, it might drop to $1420."

Which one were you looking at... the TechCraft? How much is it?

I'm looking at quite a few. The Init 65" stand at Best Buy looks nice in person and would be $237 total for me. I'm just leary to get a black stand when all my stuff (gear, speakers, speaker stands, sub, and TV) are also all black. I'd like to get a wood stand, but I'm not sure what I want. I've been eyeing a Salamander stand at Amazon, but it's a bit over $1000.

Take the plunge, and just enjoy It's that much sooner that you will get the TV... plus, by the time it does come back around to a nicer price, there will be 50" OLED HDTV's on the shelves for $2500 --
