Looking for TV arm that lowers for viewing

I'd like to store a ~47" HDTV on a high mantelpiece and am looking for an arm to hold it. The arm would need to bring it out (to clear the mantelpiece) and LOWER it about 2'-3' for viewing. It's just too high for comfortable viewing as is.
Does anyone know of a HDTV holder that attaches to a flat surface, allows the TV to come out slightly and then go down? I can't find one; my emails sent to vendors did not get answered.

Thanks in advance.

My expectation is that this is in the $3,000+ range for custom. You need a flat panel lift. As well, a mount which can telescope. The lift really is the hard part because you don't easily raise and lower a 75 pound display for years and years without some very significant infrastructure to the product. That will likely be a $2,000 lift. Then the articulated arm will likely be another $1,000 but will definitely be out there.

You probably would need some carpentry done to pit it all together nicely as well. IMO, if you don't intend to spend the money to do this one properly then I wouldn't recommend doing it at all. This is way to risky to do with sub standard product.

Well, you hit the nail on the head. Mounting the TV over a mantle means, more often than not, it is not in the optimal viewing location. Also, if you have a fire burning, during night time viewing, it will interfere with the viewing too.

IMHO, if possible, select an alternate location to mount the TV.
