Power conditioner with ethernet port

Hi all. First post.

I'm getting ready to enhance my home theater with a PC and need some advice about power protection. In addition to the PC, a wireless router/backup (Apple's Time Capsule) would be part of the setup.

I'm concerned about power surges coming through the ethernet cable and damaging the Time Capsule, computer, and other components. Some conditioners, like the Panamax 5100 and the Belkin PF60, have ethernet ports. The APC, however, H15 does not.

I was wondering how much of a risk I'd be running if I don't protect the ethernet line coming into the system. And if it's a risk worth protecting against, which power conditioner you'd recommend. Please, nothing that comes with a four-figure price tag.

You can get an APC ethernet surge for around $30 (originally used to protect computer racks). I bought a PNET4
