You know, I've spent years trying to describe the Opus 2, their sound and what I love about them. I've babbled on endlessly

trying to capture and describe them. And you hit it right on the head, first try
Nicely done!
The one thing about the Opus 2 that gets over-looked is, their sound is very addictive. They ease you into your sofa/chair, hand you your favorite drink and charm and seduce you into a musical state of euphoria.
As much as I love my Jamo speakers (the one's I bought for the other systems in my house), it's always the Wharfedale Opus 2 that seduce me so much that I can't bear parting with them. Four and a half years with my Opus 2 and they still pull at my heart strings ....every time.
I've auditioned speakers twice....four times ...5 times the price of the Opus 2, and none of them have been able to displace the Opus 2. I don't even want to try finding some thing better, anymore. I have no desire to.
I'll never part with them. They'll remain in my main system till they fall apart and crumble into dust.
