Hi
I'm from Downunder and no, we aren't all dumb like me in Oz ;-)
My query is about the merits of Bi-wiring my Centre speaker.
Is there a thread which already covers this, as I didn't find one.
I get the impression that the speaker needs 4 posts to do this and mine only has 2. Are there speakers with 4 posts to enable this?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance mate ;-)

Hope you don't mind if I skip the smilie thing dude - un-Australian

Cheers

Search the speaker forum, there are endless threads on this. But before you worry about it you can't do it with a single set of binding posts and it is worthless anyway.

Welcome aboard.
Real sonic merit has yet to be demonstrated. :D

How do I list my set-up like bandphan in above post?
It may not demonstrate sonic merit as requested but no harm in trying (I hope?)
I contacted Audioholics the other day by email regarding this but they did not reply.

What they are both saying is biwiring serves no purpose whether there are two sets of binding pots or only one. The net effect is the same as just using a larger AWG of wire.

Not sure which link to use at 'userCP' but it is there, have a look.
No, it would not hurt anything. But, if you only have two posts on a speaker, you cannot buy-wire them without going inside.
