here is my monitor and small 7" LCD for tv

here are the 2 "B" speakers on the rear deck patio

and because I like to watch TV while eating and can hear but not see my main HT screen,I put this other 7" LCD so I can watch at the dinner table.

If you need a good sub on the cheap. I'm looking to get rid of my TSC - ASW-10 for 75.00. It's a clean sounding sub that would work well in your office. Might even work well in your living room.

Audioholics did a review of the ASW-8 with some of TSC's satellite speakers if you wanted to investigate how there subs perform. The ASW 10 will go lower (28hz) and play a good bit louder though.
