I loved the movie but I'm not really sure I need to upgrade from DVD. There are a few scenes that would probably benefit from the better audio and video like the airplane accident. Maybe when I can find it for less than $20.

Fight Club BD Thread

This is being released on Nov 17. We all know this a great movie. Post your impressions and feedback on the quality of the Blu-ray version. I don't have this on DVD so now might be a good time for me to buy this movie :)

The menu on this disc is flat out cruel. For those who are getting this BD, you'll see what I mean.

I thought the warning notice on the DVD was already pretty darn funny "This message is for those of you who would actually spend the time reading something like this..."

Thanks for not ruining it :)

this was a pretty good movie. right up until the reveal of his dual personality.
imo, a bad course to take. went from a 4 too a 3.

i found this movie to be part comedy. like the part where the mechanic is hosing the preacher. too the point the preacher fights !!!
and the sleeze bag says "i haven't been F'ed like that since grade school"
BuWaHahahaha

i also found that the fighting was a pretty small part of this movie.

i thought the sound and picture were darned good.
the menu was just fine. though i only got into it enough to see that DTS was selected.

did you see where there was 2(that i saw) flashes of pitt ? each was about 1-2 frames long.

There are a lot of scenes at the begining where there is a single frame of Tyler. Up until he sees him at the airport, there are at least 6-7 of them.

The dual personality was a great point. At first it didn't make sense, but after the reveal, it made perfect sense. I thought it was good.

This is the first time you've seen this? I've seen it at least 15 times. I had the BD since it came out and actually we were talking about it and watched it just about a week ago - the first time I watched it on BD.

You know you loved when you put the disc in and it has the drew barrymore movie menu at first LOL.
