I got VIP tickets to a Monday showing of the new Terminator movie. Kinda cool, I don't know much about the movie, and wasn't really planning on seeing it unless my wife wanted to. I'm pretty tired of the crap coming out of Hollywood (mainly sequels), and the good movies are few and far between.

I'll post my newbish thoughts on the movie Tuesday morning.

I hope so. I went to a VIP early screening a few years ago (no idea what movie it was) but it was a fun experience. I remember they had some PR type from the studio come and talk for a few minutes about the movie before they dimmed the lights, which was oddly kind of cool.

Alex-My wife got the tickets and gave them to me to take a friend.

I posted a few days ago that some website was giving out free passes to a screening. I wasn't willing to create a free account...but I don't leave the house, anyway. I wasn't under the impression that they were VIP passes, though.

I'm not sure what's VIP about it, other than we get to take our seats 30 minutes earlier before the rest of the riff-raff.

LOL, I listened to that back when it was first released. Kind of funny actually, but he went on and on and on and it did get *just a little* out of hand

The movie wasn't bad, but I'm happy to say that my theater kicks the **** out of the AMC I just saw it at. There was some dude at the door with a metal detector that made me take my smart phone back to the car. I'm pretty sure that I could sell a copy that my 2MP camera would take. /sarcasm

The movie wasn't bad. I really enjoyed the first 10 minutes, but I definitely would have waited for the blu-ray rental on this one. Terminator fans shouldn't be disappointed.
