Great news Phil. Every time I saw a new post in this thread, I was expecting bad news. I hope everyone like me now sees the power of prayer, and doesn’t question its effectiveness. When I said mine, I included the care givers - the non-family members who were charged with your mothers care. They too deserve a big thank you.

If nothing else, I hope this serves as a reminder to everyone how precious life is, and how important it is that we all make the most of experiencing Gods creation first hand.

Thanks Rick for your kind words. Things have not gone to plan, but my Mom continues to hang in there. She did not get to go home today. In fact, it may be several before she can. However, at least there is hope as I will NEVER give up on her. Appreciate the support.

Yet Another Update!

Folks, my Mom still has not gotten out of the hospital just yet. However, there is a good chance she may get to come home tomorrow. If not, then sometime early next week. I am so proud of her! Heck, she even sit up today. Unfortunately, my Mom is still too weak to be able to stand or walk. I do, however, remain hopeful. They have now removed a bunch of fluid from her lungs. As such, she is now needing less oxygen. Therefore, it is only a matter of time before my Mom can come home. Once again, I appreciate all of your prayers, support, and all of the kind words. It has really made a difference and is greatly appreciated. You folks ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Phil that is my plan. I will go see her and give her a nice card. When she comes home, I plan to get some of her favorite food. That is, my Mom really likes Strombolis. We have a place here that makes them so well. That, will put a smile on her face.
