50ft of RCA or Speaker Wire, What's Better?

I got this killer deal on a pair of CV VS-120 and a Deon AVR-2400 (Older) for $40. I'll be using this set-up for outside house partys only, that's one of the cool things about Mexico, no whining neighbors, except that you have to put up with they're noise too.

Sorry got off track. I will be using my HK as the Pre-amp, the audio is coming from my PS3. I don't have room for the new receiver, so I just put it on a table and run 50ft of cheap speaker wire to the CV's outside. Heres my question, I want to place the new receiver outside on top of the CV's and control the volume from there, the deal here is that I would need 50ft of RCA from the HK to the new receiver. Is there any voltage loss with running RCA that long?? I will be buying monoprice 12ga speaker wire if that is the better option.

Thanks!!

You can not use speaker wire from a preout. You need screened cable. That is a very long run for an unbalanced cable. You might have to use transformers both ends and run xlr balanced cable.

Since it's a temporary house party set-up, I'd move everything outside.
Just keep it in the shade and away from the pool.

You could always leave everything inside get quality speaker wire from mono, the proper gauge of course and then just buy a seperate volume control from P E and mount that in close to the out door speakers.
