I've read all the info. Has anyone heard BR5's or 6's? Has anyone bought them?
How do they sound? Similar to RS line? How is the finish? I know these are vinyl wrapped but is it a good job?

I've heard the BR5 and compared them to the RS6. For me, the sound is very different in the mid range. The RS6s sounded "fuller" and with more definition. I noticed this while listening to Bob Marley's Legend album.

They look very good.

You think they're worth $500 NIB?
The BR5? The RS1s cost how much? If it is almost the same I would get the RS1s and later on would get a sub.
Better yet, wait, get the RS6s, wait some more and get a sub :D

No, not IMO. I believe they would be considered pleasant to many laymen because of the "warmer" signature, but there are many speakers at the price point that I think would be superior. Warm, but transparency is lacking.

Finish is acceptable considering price point, but nothing to write home about.

If this is for HT, I personally think making a sacrifice in SQ to gain extension is worth it. If transparency is desired above all else, I would only look at bookshelves at this price point. JMO.
