man, those look GREAT ! i hope mine turn out that good.

your port, it looks like the bottom is more than 3/4" thick ?
Good eye,I dont feel like 3/4" thickness is enough at the bottom under the port.I ripped 3/4" stock to 2" and picture framed right around the bottom of the box so it looks from the front and sides as if the bottom is doubled up I just like the look better for my needs here at home.If you look back at some other pics you will see exactly what I mean I'll try to link but it never works for me.

Wow you're a pro for sure. That's insanely good. I think it's the best Kappa I've seen so far and that's not a knock on anyones. But wow. Well done dude.

I owe every last effort on this build to the great friends I have made here at AH without all you guys I would be still saving for The SVS 13 and that would not have been a bad thing either, except there would only be one. This forum has by far some of the most helpful and informative members,Bar None.

I'm sure those subs outperform an SVS 13 which is no slouch.

The only 2 drivers superior at 12" are the JL Audio and the TC Sounds Audiopulse.(weighs 40 lbs each) :)

I wish someone with a PB13 Ultra was local to me so we could do a comparison.

Could be nice, but you would need 2 EP 2500s according to Wmax to maximize the potential of the subs.

There is just no way for any commercial sub to compete with that in the same price range.

You mean that its possible to use one EP 2500 on one infinity kappa or where you speaking of a different driver, that seems like a lot,but I am all ears :).Also since these boxes turned out so nice they will prolly stick around for awhile so I do see my self trying out the JLAudio 12 w7 when the time is right, but for now I'll just enjoy these.:)

According to Wmax these subs can take around 1000 watts each with a high pass filter of 20hz. So Yes you would need an ep2500 each to maximize these subs.

I would just stick with the current driver in your case. Unless you have a huge room I don't see a huge benefit from the jump.

Wow. Great job!

Do they sound as I promised(transparent, substantial dynamic range)?
