I'd be curious how it compares to the DVDO, as that was the only one I knew of at this kind of price point.:cool:

Very cool. I've always enjoyed my DVDO, but it's starting to show its age. I'd love to see a review.

Any comparisons or reviews on the DVDO EDGE vs the Atlona AT-LINE-PRO3. are they similar in price and performance? Which one should I buy?

Bandphan,

My setup about 5 years old and is as follows:
B&K Ref 50
B&K Ref200.7
Denon DVD2200
PS2 for Blu Ray
Direct TV
Pioneer Elite Pro 730-HDI
B&W speakers

I run the PS2 direct to the Pioneer 730 with an HDMI cable and a digital Optical cable thru the B&K Ref 50.
Everything else runs thru the B&K Ref 50. The Ref 50 does not have HDMI so it runs component cables.
The Denon DVD2200 is skipping and making funny noises so I am going to buy a new DVD player. Hopefully one that will upscale my regular DVDs.

I was thinking about buying the DVDO EDGE vs the Atlona so that I could have the ability to gain HDMI inputs and upscaling ability. Run all the video thru it and the audio thru the B&K Ref 50.

I know the Pioneer is only 1080i but I am very happy with the picture. Most of what I watch is Direct tv and DVD. 99%of which are standard DVDs.

Any thoughts?
