I’m usually up on new BD releases, but somehow this one snuck under the radar – All 3 X-Men movies are now available on BD! Saw it advertised on Amazon, checked Best Buys’ web site, and they had the same deal on the individual movies, and the box set. I took an extended lunch & went to the nearest BB and snagged the last box set they had on display:D.

Looks & sounds great. My kids are anxious to watch them:cool:

Awesome! Thanks for that info. I enjoyed those movies, especially the first two.

Maybe I do need to go get a blu-ray player after all. Well, and a TV that could benefit from it. Oh, and a receiver that can handle HDMI.

[Sighs in desperation.]

The deal on Amazon isn't bad either- $55 for all 3 movies on BD. How much was it at BB Craig?

Per individual movie or box set, BB is the same price as Amazon. Sure I had to pay tax, but I’m not a patient person:(

$52.99 at Tower.com with free shipping. I really didn't like the third movie, but the other two are good.

For some reason, Frys doesn't have the trilogy, but they do have all of the individual movies for $17 each, which would be a total of $51. I guess that works out for me, since I don't want to buy the third one :D

I found something interesting when I went to Fry's this morning (yes they are out of the boxset) but if you buy them individually it's 17.00/ea or 51.00 the boxset is 55.00 but if you buy them individually you will get three 10.00 e-tail coupons to see Wolverine but on the boxset you only get one coupon. So individually it's cheaper and you get 30.00 towards seeig the movie or the boxset is more and one 10.00 voucher. I already had X3 on blu, so I just bought the first two.

I love Amazon pre-order price guarantee. :) $48.89 shipped. Seen the first one, very good. I might get to the second tonight, depending on guests . . . Slumdog just got in from Netflix, so we'll see. :)

I hadn't seen the first one in quite some time, and I was pretty pleased with the introduction of the characters. :)

jostenmeat the second one was far better than the first one (and the first one was pretty dang good) but the 3rd one was the worst of the bunch.

This was mentioned on High Def Digest as well. Seems pretty odd to me. At the very least, they should give you the same amount of movie cash for buying the set.

Well I went to the website and put in the code and entered some info and viola a window opened up and I just printed out the "ticket" now you have to click what theaters accept "e-cash" tickets (enter your zip) and it found 4 theaters within 20 miles of me (one of em was 3 miles from my house and I never even knew it was there) Anyway each code is good for one 10.00 ticket that can be used at any show (including those that say no coupons) for any time as long as the ticket is used before Sept 30 and only for three movies. Wolverine, Night at the Museum 2 and Ice Age whatever number their on.
