J jamie2112 Banned Apr 22, 2009 #4 Can you block the number? Otherwise you could always just burn down their building..... J/K buddy but if blocking the number is an option I would try that and then just leave them on hold till they hang up. That last option works really well because they get it after a few times and will usally leave you alone...

Usually they'll send me a billion things in the mail but this is the first magazine to constantly harass us on the phone. It's like I owe them money. rmk said: Honestly, I'm looking forward to my subscription expiring. I usually skim it and throw in on the stack. Anyone want a couple of years of back subscriptions? However this latest telemarketer crap sealed the deal for me on not renewing.

Tell them to put you on the "Do Not Call" list. Or, ask for that person's number and if they ask why, tell them that you can't talk at that time but you'd love to call them when it's more convenient. J just listening Audioholic Apr 23, 2009 #13 I figure for $11 a year, Stereophile is pretty cheap entertainment. The big problem is that they are dying from too high of ad costs that are needed to keep the physical publication going. The Absolute Sound is already going that direction. They just re-did their website, and launched Playback magazine. It's their way of learning the electronic ropes before they switch over IMHO. Look for both to be electronic-only by 2011.
