Passive Radiator Distance Question

I am rearanging my living room. Maybe? I have a subwoofer with a passive radiator. My question is what is the minimum distance the radiator has to be from the right wall. The way it looks I only have about 2", is that enough? Or should I just leave my downfiring sub there?

I'm going to say that 2 inches doesn't sound like enough space and if you don't have to go that route, then don't. If you go with the try and see approach please post back with your thoughts.

Active driver faces to front, passive radiator to right against the wall.
