HDMI cables - 1.3a Category 2 CL2 vs. regular CL2

I've been reading up on HDMI cables, and now I feel even more confused!

OK, so monoprice's flat hdmi cables are:

High Speed HDMI 1.3a Category 2 Certified Cable CL2 Rated (In-Wall Installation) FLAT Cable (24AWG)

up to 15ft.

At 20ft and above, they become:

HDMI CL2 Rated (In-Wall Installation) FLAT Cable (24AWG)

Of course, I need 20ft to run to my projector. Is there a serious degradation in quality I should be concerned about? Or is that 20ft cable going to be OK for my PS3 @1080p? I really want to stick with flat cabling if I can instead of going to the higher gauge stuff that is Category 2 Certified.

Thanks!

You'll be just fine. I think I was using for a while the 35 ft length, non 1.3 certified. Picture looked glorious.

I am now using a 25 ft 1.3 rated cable. I detect zero difference.

However, I still encourage you to use the thicker cable, if only as overkill.

Yes, I'm looking at the thicker 22AWG cables also. But I'm concerned it won't fit where I've got to route it (up through a hole above my rack along my rail lighting and back down to the projector mounted below).

That's why the flat cabling is very appealing to me. :)

Is that low voltage lighting? Ivè seen issues even with in Wall rated cables run along low voltage.

Issues with it causing noise?

I'm not exactly sure if it is, but I don't have any issues with the other HDMI cable, component cables, nor VGA cable I have running to the projector.

I have 2 HDMI inputs on this new projector, so I'm running a new cable along side the others.
