Rosewood Ref 0.5 - $170 plus actual shipping from 21234.

Very good condition. I bought these used in November, and they were gently used in a PC setup until mid-Fed (never pushed hard), when I replaced them with my ELT525. There is a small nick in the veneer on the top of one of the speakers, but otherwise they are in good shape. I guess I'd rate them a 7-8/10.

These come with the original inside box and speakers socks. No manual. I will double box them so they arrive safely.

Piano Black NHT SB1 - $150 plus actual shipping.

Also in very good condition. I just bought these on ebay last week to replace the Energy RC-10 that now occupy my desktop, so I could free up some desk space using the smaller speaker. While they sound nice, I still like the RC-10's better despite taking up more space, so the NHT's have to go.

The piano black is in good shape, with some of the "micro" scratches that seem impossible to avoid with this finish. Otherwise, if you cleaned and waxed the surface they would look wonderful. To be on the safe side, I'd rate them the same as the Ref's - 7-8/10.

I have the original packaging with manual. They seller packed these well inside the original box, but I can also double box if you want (keeping it mind it will increase shipping price a little).

As for payment I will accept a USPS money order or Paypal (please add 3%). As far as shipping - I have a UPS account so it would be cheapest that way....but if you have another preference I can ship whatever method you prefer.

Do you think either of those would hold up for garage use? It gets about 120 in Texas garages.

Hmm, I wouldn't know for sure.

But neither of these has paper drivers or foam surrounds, so I imagine that would bid in their favor of being able to withstand the high temps.

With the Ref 0.5, the heat could be an issue for the veneer, but I don't know, since usually humidity + heat is blamed for veneer splitting problems. The SB1 is a gloss black laquer, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Maybe some others could chime in on this and give a better answer.
