Where Has DTS Gone?

I still watch regular dvds and have noticed that not many recent releases are available with dts. This is especially frustrating when the BR is in dts!

Anyone got any opinions on this subject?

I remember another thread on this. I'll see if I can find it, as I think that there were some good comments in there.

I see plenty of blu ray discs that have dts on them, but I don't rent many regular dvd's anymore, so I can't comment on those. But even when I did rent a lot of regular dvds, there weren't many dts titles then either.

I am pretty sure you answered your own question already. It went to Blu-ray, and it sounds better than ever :)

Is there a perceivable difference between DTS and DTS-MA?

Here's that other thread.
I asked that question a few months back. I had all but given up on even checking to see if there was a DTS track but I would still check every time. It had probably been a couple of years since I have even seen a DTS track on a new DVD until a couple of weeks ago when I watched the new James Bond movie. I thought they had given up on DVD and moved to blu-ray, but I guess not.
