How do you guys finish your box

What ways have you guys used to finish your box and why? Would you finish it this way again now that you have done it once? Where you happy with the results?

Mine was finished with a wood vaneer and then just sprayed black to match my other stuff. It looks great and would look even better stained a nice wood color- of choice but then it wouldn't match the rest of my gear.

The sub is all 13ply Birch and it is all covered with a wood vaneer.

Andrew built it. The box will likely be for sale in the near future as I am changing to a really big ported box.

I plan to use ebony finish or black paint.

For now my idea of finishing is putting the drivers in and listening.

My two kappas will be laminated with 10 grade wilsonart laminate in a tiger oak design 92.00 plus tax for two subs I was gonna use some cabernet deep red wine laminate that I already have but its just too dark for the look I need as per my lovely wifes point of view,its just a small sacrifice in order to get both of these in the house .
