Gallbladder gone

No issues, everything went fine for Mrs Dawg. She is at home, resting on the couch. I have pictures of the gallbladder if anyone wants to see it.

Recovery and relaxation time. Speedy recovery hopes to her and you (since you will be her servant ), as my surgery in Jan and subsequent recovery is likely similar to what she will go through.

Her surgeon was great (I know most of the Docs around here) and he started right on time and had me talking to her in recovery exactly 1.5 hours later. Took her home an hour after that. She has very minimal pain right now but I am keeping her pretty loaded on dope for now.

My parents were here for a visit a couple of weeks ago, and were planning on seeing this movie about "Harvey" at the dollar theater.

They are in their 70's, and quite old fashioned. They thought the movie was a re-make of the Jimmy Stewart Classic.

After explaining it was not "Harvey", but rather called "Milk", after Harvey Milk, they opted to see Marley and Me.

They were rather thankful.

For your having sat through it ... I feel your pain.

You are a good husband, and deserve to watch Dark Knight.
