G gwhiz Enthusiast Apr 3, 2009 #4 The player is easy to update if the down loaded file from Panasonic is any good. I tried to download their file 3 times and it all but wiped out any software loaded on my BD 35. I finally called Panny and they mailed me their CD. Worked great you just pop it in and the player does all the work.

The first time I did it, I was having issues, but I don't know why. Since, no problemo. I think I've been using Roxio to burn on the CD-R. Once you load it, I think it's maybe 10 minutes, actually... probably less than that. Here is the Panasonic BD30 FW support thread. jsmiddleton4 is the most avid researcher/supporter there it seems. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1064552&page=18 Here is the official DL site for the BD30, and I went to North America as an attempt towards your convenience. If you live in Bangladesh, sorry. http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/bd/download/bd30/bd30_na.html

M mtbound10 Audioholic Apr 3, 2009 #8 I figured it out. There was no indication that the downloaded file needed to be opened and or unzipped! She's updated!
