I believe that the Republican leadership folks are bad for this country. I think the Democrat leaders are also bad for this country...and perhaps dangerous to the survival of the Constitution, too. I suggest all who sip deeply from this well of partisan politics take a look at whose hand is in your pocket. In 2000 it was the right hand. Today it's the left hand.
I just love it when someone actually understands politics.
Thank You! RJ

If I may suggest some reading material.
To be read with a non-partisan opened mind::)

Propaganda- Edward Bernays, 1928

Bernays (The father of Engineered Consent) is the nephew of Sigmund Freud. He applied these manipulation techniques and became an outspoken proponent of propaganda as a tool for political and corporate manipulation of the population.
His 1928 bombshell, Propaganda lays out his eerily prescient vision for using propaganda to regiment the collective mind in a variety of areas, including government, politics, art, science and education. To read this book today is to frightfully comprehend what our contemporary institutions of government and business have become in regards to organized manipulation of the masses.

Seriously, I have no life.
.....I can see Michelle Obama keeping Barack grounded on who he is and where he came from, were the need to arise....which I don't think will happen....he feels like he is on an assigned mission....I do too.....
You do realize that he never really did much until they met, right? She mentored him at the law firm and I think she forced him to "put up, or shut up". Grounded? I don't know yet although I heard that he mentioned the fact that he's in the highest tax bracket and that's the first time I know of that he said anything about himself when it comes to income or taxes. It's always 'them' and 'you', not so much 'we', unless it's a "we'll make it" or "we need this/that". Otherwise, it's "They need to pay their fare share", when 'they' are 20% of the population and are already paying about 59% of the tax revenue to the Treasury.
