Transporter 3 on BD

I liked the first one, liked about 1/3 of the second one (one of the worst endings of any movie ever), and the review of this one said it wasn't bad. It was about par for the course as far as these movies go, but it changed the formula a little bit. I liked this movie, but it screwed up on THE two key elements of the series - the fight scenes and the car chase!! The fight scenes still have the same type of choreography, but they are now edited Bourne-MTV style, with a bunch of retarded edits and only a few fights. The car chase(s) pretty much just sucked IMO. It is a cheezy action flick, so what more can be said? Despite that, this movie was still more entertaining than the second one and was worth the rental if you ask me; not on par with the first but still fun. The BD looks and sounds great (DTS-HD). Fans of the series will likely enjoy a little mindless fun I am sure.

I agree. I enjoyed the audio quite a bit. The fight scenes annoyed me a little because of the editing that you described, but overall it was decently entertaining.

TP2 wasn't too bad. Amber Valletta was pretty phenomenal though, and makes it worth a watch. Yum.

Yep, there is a really long trailer for Crank2 on the BD. So long, that I think I've pretty much seen the whole movie except for any nudity. I really didn't like the first one, though it had its moments

I thought it was one of those movies that could have been really good...I see what they were trying to do with the cinematography, but the stunts he did were just too stupid and over the top.

Working in a Hopsital CathLab, I saw the preview for Crank 2 and how Jason Statham has recieved an artificial heart with a one hour lifespan mind you and recieving this heart after falling 100 stories from a helicopter, I had to stop myself from having soda shoot out my nose from the laughter. Agree the first Crank was so stupid that at the end of it, I thought, Thank God he died, so they can't make a sequel." Leave it to Hollywood to once again prove to me that they have no more originaility left in them. Yet so many great novels and stories never get made into movies. (Stephen Kings "The Long Walk" comes to mind). I thought TP3 was way better then the 2nd, but it couldnt compare with how good the first one was.

Jason Statham really needs to get a better agent.

Actually it has put me to sleep like three times and I have given up on it. The first one was great but the Asians in the container was covered in Leathal Weapon.

Lethal Weapon 4, actually , and LW4 didn't have a hottie daughter of the crime boss as a main player in the movie. Great movie, though. Jet Li is one fast dude.

Yeah Jet Li is amazing. So, Adam who would win between Jet Li and Jason Statham? How about Liam Neeson? My bet would be on Jet Li all the way!!!!

I am not sure about that one Adam. Either way, it would be interesting to see whom would come out on top. I still think it would be Jet Li myself. I guess we would also have to include the likes of Steven Segal and Jackie Chan.

LOL.......no Chuck is one bad dude to say the least. But sometimes, quickness will rain supreme over toughness. Many believe that Jackie Chan is the fastest. Personally, I still say it is Jet Li-well second only to Bruce Lee himself. Sure would make for an interesting video game eh? Besides, Chucky is getting all involved w/politics these days from what I garner. Too busy to kick some a$$.
