I was willing to go MSRP plus 132% if they are an antique almond color.:D
I'm with jonnythan on this. Look, he even added the sarcastic eye roll.
That's so cute ... :)

You could probably get P-Dawg to give you close to retail for those cables if they match his cabinet doors.

Seriously, I have no life.
If I flip cables back and forth between bis and singles and cannot perceive a difference it is beyond good enough for me. :D
Yes, you are correct:D My brain took a different path before:eek:

No, which is interesting. His words seem pretty clear to me.

He says he knows that bi-wiring does not help.
Just shows you how easy for the brain to misdirect:D, including me.:D

The cables are victorian ebony. They would be an excellent contrasting color to antique almond. I'd even do straight MSRP...just for you. ;)

I don't mind the laughter...

$125 for pair of 8' bi-wires and a pair of ICs. I think total msrp was $190ish. Barely scratching the surface of pricey cables. Like I said in my first post in this thread, I believed the "bi-wiring doesn't do anything" argument, but it is still good sometimes to invest a little and have first hand experience to back up what your brain leads you to believe. Too many of us simply parrot what they read from others.

There's a difference in reading and believing. For instance I believe you about the wire but I don't believe I will spend any money confirming what you had to say about it.

Welcome to the forum. :)

I'm still blaming the purchase on the dreary winter weather and being stuck inside the house too much.

Thanks for the welcome. I've poked my head in here a few times in the past, but didn't register until recently. Seems like a cool spot to hang out. Fewer and fewer of those these days, I'm afraid.

What you are saying is that speaker manufacturers go to the extra lengths and cost to fit two extra termination posts [...]
Here's what a manufacturer says about biwiring and biamping, see link for full context and details:

Will it sound any different if you biwire? Some users think it does, but I've never heard any differences, nor have any of our laboratory measurements or scientifically controlled double blind listening tests ever demonstrated there are audible differences. Axiom includes the extra terminals as a nod to those enthusiasts who believe that biwiring results in audible benefits and for the bi-ampers.

For such a level headed member, I would think that you would have way more thanks and stuff. The above is a great blow against the mental retardation that keeps audio enthusiasts broke and never satisfied.

I like the fact that Axiom has adopted complete transparency on the matter.

Yes, but there is a price to pay to reinvent the wheel:D
