Looks like it'll work. Pretty similar to the stuff I just got. Not sure how much it'll cost, but you may want to call around to some local places. I got 4 sheets for free from a local contractor so you might get lucky if you don't need much.

I've used the roxul 60 or 6lb stuff for build projects. I bought a 5 pack from a local distributor for around 35 bucks.

Yes get the 60 or 80.

6lb or 8lb will work.

But some speakers don't need this type of treatment.

I suggest you ask TLS for advice on what to use for a particular application.

It may be overkill for your speaker.
In fact, the high density rockwool/fiberglass is a benefit for most any speaker system(TL designs excluded). But... usually this specific material must be compensated for in the design as it will provide for a substantially different response curve in the lower end band of the mid-bass drivers if used at sufficient amounts to prevent all interior box resonance/reverberation/oscillation in the mid-range band. The typical dampening methods/materials used are not sufficient to prevent all problems. But then again, most people (including so-called audiophiles) appear to be used to a relatively high level of coloration(s).....
