After due consideration, I have decided to sell my Rotel AVR with all original accessories, and also including a Monoprice HDMI switch and some cables (if needed). I would like to get
$550 plus actual shipping costs and any PayPal fees, if applicable. It will ship in its original box, and I will put that in a second box with some packing peanuts to make sure it is safe. Please feel free to PM me or ask questions in this thread.
I bought it in 2004 after a long, arduous search for the absolute best for my money. I immediately sent it in to Rotel for a full update when I bought it. I would rate the physical condition of the AVR a 9/10. It has always been handled with great care, and I have never driven it beyond its amazing capability. There are no scratches, and the finish is near flawless. The only flaw I could find is that there is a little speck on the inside of the front display window that must of got there when Rotel did the hardware and software upgrade. It is still probably the best 5.1 pre-HDMI AVR you can get for the money. I just bought a Denon AVR-3808CI and was going to use the Rotel in my upstairs system, but I need a zone 2 amp section to drive some in-ceiling speakers around the house, so that was a no-go.
I have dusted it literally before every use, and it has always been used in a smoke free environment. I do have a young dog as many of you know, but she is only allowed to be in the HT if she is in her kennel near the front of the HT, so I would be surprised if there has ever any pet hair near the receiver.
The receiver is rated at 100 watts per channel, but that is a very conservative rating. I have read that it is much more capable than some other brands that are rated at a much higher wattage. I demoed some Paradigm Studio 60's with it and they were never thirsty for more power.

I would rate the physical condition of remote for the Rotel a 6/10, and the functionality is still perfect. Because it has a rubberized surface, it can be scratched very easily, even when dusting it with a paper towel. That said, it is a learning universal remote, so it can operate your entire system, and has a very strong IR transmitter. I have been able to bounce the signal around corners and such to change the volume, etc.
I am also including a Monoprice 4X1 HDMI 1.3 switch and its remote. Its condition is a 10/10, and has only been in use for a couple of months. It works flawlessly for all the sources I used with it, including Xbox 360, my laptop PC with HDMI out, and both the Blu-ray and HD DVD players. There is something that rattles inside the remote, and it has been that way since I bought it. I also have some digital and analog audio cables and some nice HDMI 1.3 cables that I will include if needed, so let me know what you need and I will give you what I have.
Now for the pictures. I tried to take as detailed ones as I could, but I am no photographer.
Here is my eBay feedback page, just to let you know that I take selling online very seriously. Again, I will gladly answer any questions. Thanks!
