Quad ultra sealed 16"s with a stacked pair outside each main, I think that would take my ht room to a new level

Ported Ultra? no. a bigger driver = bigger enclosure ... and the PB13 is already pretty big.

Updates? haven't heard anything yet ... so it's still months and months away at least.

the new sealed Ultra looks to become more expensive than the ported version. (costlier amp, remote control?, digital display, etc.)

the new sealed Ultra should have an advantage in the 40hz and above frequencies, but will lose out in the 40hz and below until the ported subwoofer starts to slope below tuning.

sounds like it's the ported version I will want then! The last thing I need is another remote... but I guess I could use the harmony one to control it, that is if there is a remote, and it's IR. I'm thinking of selling my 20-39 PC+ to get a ultra 13, but still not sure yet.

I know I really want it, I just don't know if I want to spend that much money right now... plus I would have to find a buyer for my current sub that would give me what I want for it.
