Did You Ever Have To Makeup Your Mind.....

.....pick up on one and leave the other behind. It's not often easy, it's not often kind...did you ever have to make up your mind.

So, lets say you just won a raffle to Best Buy for a choice between two TVs ( I wish this were the case). Anyway, your choices are: Samsung PN63A760 or the Panasonic TH-65PZ850U.

Money is no object, so, which one would choose? And why?

I would go with the Panny, only because I know nothing of the Samsung, but that Panny is excellent.

If I had some more cash, and didn't mind waiting several months, I'd get a newer model, yet to come out. From the little I've read, the new Pannys will be super good. But, you pay a premium to have the new model right when it's released I suppose.

Guess one has to jump on the train at some point or another.

SAMSUNG!!,, i have a samsung and a panny, they both look great, good picture, but the panny has annoying features , when you watch somthing on a HD channel that is not in HD, the picture is very small in the screen ,like 4:3 even after changing the setting numerous times it goes back...its just a lot of little things that are annoying, remote, buttons, features , menus etc
i dont have one complaint with my sammy.... i somtimes say out loud when watching a movie......i LOVE this tv

Bandphan is correct LCD versus Plasma! Also the Panny is smaller 32" versus Sammy 52" ; 20" makes a difference , evn though its a diagonal increase.

Not to be biased by I love the look of Plasma

Yes go with Sharp, oh wait they only make 1 good set and for the price they want the top of the line panny or pioneer. And the op wants a plasma. I own 2 sharps and both bite compared to many others.

I would get the Sammy because every Panasonic flat screen I have worked with thus far does not integrate with PC's very well and thats a big selling point for me.

I guess it depends on your needs.... but I have the 65PZ850u on the way, I'll let you know how it is.. should be here this week...

This will be my 3rd Panny - Both are Pro Panels... 42-8UK & 50-9UK Love them... Had to upgrade to 1080p sometime...

Hey man, with all due respect, I don't think I've seen a display that I disliked more. I think even Vizio plasmas blow away all of the Sharp LCDs I've seen.

However, I haven't seen the flagship model, which is supposed to be decent. But, I've seen a few Sharp LCDs, and they've always looked horrid, IMO.

It's crazy, but I do tend to like them over the other LCDs.

Of course give me a DLP or Plasma any day over a Sharp.
