I heard that when playing on a PS3/Xbox their is LAG sometimes when playing on a DLP tv.... can anyone chime in on this...something with the wireless controller, is it true? Do the new DLP's have this problem too? I wanted to get a 65" DLP to play games on and im worried about this, its a deal breaker for me.Thanks

I play X360 on my Mitsu 65" and see no lag at all. I've recently gotten into a rather fast paced game in Left 4 Dead, and there is no lag time in pulling the trigger and seeing zombies die.

Don't worry about it, get a giant TV and enjoy beautiful gaming.

What were they smoking?

The lag didn't come from the tv most likely. It probably came from the system overheating.

Besides the new DLPs have fewer of the issues. Another option is a PJ if you want a really big picture.

I've been paying this on my 47inch Olevia LCD in 1080P from my new HTPC.... Zombies never looked so good.

Well maybe it's a screen size issue. If your screen is too small with DLP like less than 73" then it seems to lag behind due to it's lack of immersion.:D

A DLP won't lag anymore than a slow *** LCD will. If you're that concerned about it, check out the 120Hz Diamond Mitsubishi DLP's.

Mits doesn't make LED DLP's. They only make incandescent bulb and laser DLP's (top and bottom). For LED DLP's, you have to shop Samsung. I think Nuvision is the only other rear projection player left in the market. They are LCoS.

Gaming should look fantastic on a modern DLP television! There are no issues with "lag" on the display that would give the issues you're describing. If someone used the example of a wireless controller having video sync issues with a DLP televisions, they are deeply confused about how these products operate.
