I like the song in this commercial. Does anyone recognize this? Is it an actual song or was it written specifically for this commercial?

Some sites indicate that it was a custom song written for the commercial by Jonathan Elias, per Toyota's customer service. Another person said that it Jonathan Elias - More to see. The commercial sounds similar, but it's more edgy than that song.

It sounds VERY much like the type of work Brian Eno did with Paul Simon on "Surprise" If it's not Eno then they sure seemed to be influenced by him.
If you haven't heard "Surprise" you should give it a spin it is a really good disc.

You know, it's funny you mention this, I was thinking the exact same thing. It's just that certain something, style perhaps. In any case, I'm glad Toyota released the tracks; pretty catchy.

I spent ages trying to research what this song actually was and could never find anything that actually clarified what it was although a lot of people i asked said that it was "More to See"

At least now i can actually listen to it and i suddenly no longer care who it was by but its just a good tune to listen to and thats all i ask for from my music

I like the version of the Venza commercial that airs on Fox HD. It's 2:35 to 1 with lots of bass and dynamic range plus 448kbps DD to boot. The Bravo HD version is 16:9 and flat.

Jonathan Elias writes some of the most compelling television advertisement music. I've tried to get some of his music in the past, but it's all under lock and key.

He did music for some of the Geico commercials (not the new ones). I keep looking for the "Rolling Luggage" music.
